My reading list

I thought I'd add an extra dimension to the blog by telling you about a little challenge I set myself a couple of years ago.

As part of a bigger plan of things I wanted to achieve before I'm 40 (most of which will probably fall by the wayside as life has otherwise got in the way), I decided I wanted to read the 100 must-read books. The list I have is based on the BBC's Big Read from 2003 so it's a little bit old but that's the list I've chosen and I'm sticking with it.

And it's actually going really well, aside from the fact that I no longer get an hour a day to sit and read (that was the ONLY good thing about my commute, trust me!). I'm still sourcing some of the novels, but for now I'm focusing on reading because some of them are HUGE. And have very small type. But don't just take my word for it. Let's look at the list…
